HOUSE IN SCANDINAVIAN STYLE:
remote control and monitoring
Title: Hilltop House in Scandinavian Style
Location: Ukraine, suburb of Kharkiv, Tsyrkuny village
Architect: Gleb Semyakin
Designer: Gleb Semyakin
Chief Engineer: Andrii Khankuliiev
Total Building Area: 231 m²
Technologies: BIM design, backup power supply, intelligent microclimate control
Features: Energy-efficient house
Remote control and monitoring: a smart house that is always under control
Modern technologies allow you to control the house from anywhere in the world, managing heating, lighting, security, and energy consumption with a single touch. In this project, the intelligent building management system (BMS) became a key element of autonomy, providing full control and comfort.
Why is remote control important?
- Resource savings – automatic management of engineering systems reduces energy consumption, including heating, ventilation, and lighting.
- Safety – continuous monitoring of the house, video surveillance, access control, and protection against water leaks.
- Flexibility – the ability to adjust system settings according to current needs, even when away from home.
Functions of the intelligent building management system (BMS)
- Remote heating control
The owner can adjust the temperature in each zone of the house via a smartphone app. The system automatically adapts heating, reducing energy costs when the house is unoccupied. - Microclimate control
The system analyzes data from temperature, humidity, CO₂, and oxygen sensors, automatically adjusting parameters to create a comfortable atmosphere. - Dynamic lighting control
Lighting scenarios are configured according to the time of day and residents’ activity. Motion sensors allow lights to turn on and off as needed, and owners can manage lighting through the app. - Security and access control system
✔ Video surveillance around the perimeter with smartphone access
✔ Keyless entry for owners and guests
✔ Automatic notifications of suspicious activity - Fault monitoring and emergency protection
The system detects water leaks, voltage spikes, and other faults, automatically sending notifications to the owner and blocking problem areas. - Energy consumption monitoring
All energy usage data is collected in real time. The owner can analyze consumption and optimize system operation to reduce costs. - Automatic report and log generation
All setting changes and possible failures are recorded, helping to quickly resolve issues and increase the reliability of engineering systems.
Full control, wherever you are
Thanks to the intelligent control system, this house can be adjusted to your needs at any time and from anywhere in the world.
This project is an example of how modern technologies make life simpler, more comfortable, and safer. At Pyramis, we design homes that adapt to their owners and work for their convenience.
WE THINK AHEAD
