Modern engineering solutions: key trends in the countryside house project
Creating comfortable and energy-efficient housing today is impossible without advanced engineering solutions. This private house project reflects key global trends in construction — from intelligent resource management to autonomous engineering systems.
Engineering that stays behind the scenes
Modern technologies here are integrated in a way that does not overload the space with technical details. They operate in the background, providing comfort, safety, and resource efficiency. The Pyramis team considered three key directions when designing this house:
- Comprehensive approach to energy consumption
Energy-efficient engineering systems optimize resource usage. At the core are an air-to-water heat pump, heat recovery ventilation, and automatic microclimate control. - Autonomy of engineering systems
All engineering solutions are designed with potential power supply interruptions in mind. The backup power system, including a diesel generator and solid fuel boiler, ensures uninterrupted operation of the house. - Remote control and dispatching
The client can manage all home systems via smartphone from anywhere in the world. This includes heating, lighting, security, and even access control.
Main engineering solutions of the project
- Intelligent Heating System
A 32 kW heat pump combined with a water-based underfloor heating system ensures even heat distribution throughout the house. The temperature in each room is automatically regulated based on weather conditions and residents’ preferences. - Energy-efficient Ventilation
The heat recovery system minimizes heat loss during ventilation. This is especially important in cold seasons, as the air is refreshed without cooling, thanks to the return of heat from the exhaust air. - Automated Lighting Control
The house features an intelligent lighting system that adapts to the time of day and occupants’ activity. Motion sensors, lighting scene settings, and energy-efficient LED technology provide both comfort and reduced electricity consumption. - Modern Window Systems
Energy-saving Rehau double-glazed windows are installed to reduce heat loss and increase natural lighting. - Backup Systems
The house is equipped with a 10 kW Perkins diesel generator and a Grandeg solid fuel boiler, making it fully autonomous even during prolonged power outages.
Life-changing technologies
This project demonstrates how advanced engineering solutions can not only make a home comfortable but also enable its owner to control energy costs, improve eco-friendliness, and enhance safety.
Pyramis’ engineering approach is not just about installing equipment but comprehensive design, where every detail is carefully considered. We create spaces where technology remains invisible yet makes life comfortable and secure.
WE THINK AHEAD
We don’t just design engineering systems.
We create life infrastructure that works seamlessly, delivering maximum comfort, stability, and control.
